God of War: Chains of Olympus | Review

without comments

[PSP] God of War: Chains of Olympus – SCORE: 10

Highest Level Achieved:
Played through one time. I was able to upgrade all the of weapons. I did not try any of the challenges.

Description: This is all the stabbing, killing and decapitating of the first two games, in a convenient, on the go, portable format.

This game was so good I don’t even know where to begin. I can start by saying that this game has the best graphics of any handheld game I have ever played. (Keep in mind that at this point I have not played Final Fantasy: Crisis Core, which I am sure will have better graphics.) This version of God of War runs with no slowdown and almost as fluidly as its PS2 predecessors. You can tell that they scaled some things down, but it was not really a big problem. You still get blood splattering, and you still feel immersed in the God of War world.

Five PSP Games You Should Play

with 2 comments

According to recent statistics the PSP-2000, or PSP Slim, has already sold over 1 million units in Japan. This got me thinking that there are people out there who have missed out on a lot of the great games on the system so far. It is a common misconception that there are no games for the PSP. Below I am going to list my top five must have games for the PSP.

Devil May Cry 4 | Video

with 2 comments

I just watched this trailer for Devil May Cry 4. It is on of the best trailers I have watched in a long time. It got me really excited for this game. One of the biggest reasons is that it seems to have a real storyline and not just a go to this castle, and fight this dark lord. Also the voice acting does not seem tacked on. You need to take the time to let the whole HD trailer load because it is totally worth it.

Trauma Center: New Blood | Video

I am excited about this game. I have been a big fan of the DS version for a long time. The best part of this will be the Co-op play. I think it will be fun and really help out on those difficult surgeries to have your friend giving you a hand.

White PS3

Sony has announce that they will be releasing a white and black 40GB PS3 in Japan on November 11th. This PS3 will be different from previous models in a few way. First it will lose all backwards compatibility by losing the memory card slot and SACD reading function. Also on the chopping block are 2 of the 4 USB ports. It will also come bundled with the Dualshock 3 controller. This bundle will retail in Japan for $341

PSP-2000 | Review

with 2 comments

I finally broke down and bought a PSP Slim this week. At first I thought because it was only a “slight” upgrade I would avoid the upgrade entirely because I enjoy the PSP the way it is, but after spending some time with the slimmer, lighter, PSP I am going to say it is an upgrade that you don’t want to miss. My suggestion is that if you don’t own a PSP buy this one because you won’t be disappointed, and if you do own a PSP sell it and buy this new version. Some of you might say I am crazy, but if you go do it you will thank me later.
